FRN Programs Overview Print E-mail

The Lewis County FRN hosts a variety of family and education oriented programs.  These programs emphasize the importance of family values, child and adult education, and mental and physical well being. Some of the programs offered by the Lewis County FRN include: the Annual Childrens' Oktoberfest; Breast, Ovarian, Colon and Skin Cancer Awareness and other health related prevention and education projects, including Tobacco Use and Clean Air issues; Childrens' Health Insurance Program Outreach such as the Book Bag Raffle at the beginning of the school year; Child and Adult literacy projects; and many, many more. The goal of these programs is to boost the standard of living in Lewis County by providing valuable opportunities to its citizens. Some youth areas we focus on include afterschool programs, substance abuse awareness, and school readiness. We also strive to encourage productive, healthy, and safe lifestyles while enriching lives both culturally and academically. By providing programs such as these, the hope of the Lewis County FRN is to assist Lewis County residents to reach their personal best. We are always looking to expand our projects to reach the entire community. If you see a project that you feel could have a positive impact on your life, please contact us to learn how you can become involved.
